There has been sea change in technology applications and through technological advancement several uncertainties have been removed. General sensitizations about the techniques have also grown substantially & therefore a revision had become imperative. It is our proud privilege to present the second & revised edition of this publication that provides readers with appropriate information that is more sync with times. The book aims at providing guidelines to establish contract conditions for Trenchless Technology works for project owners & planners working on their behalf in a more objective manner. Trenchless techniques provide opportunities to meet the geological & physical challenges while developing, maintaining & managing subsurface networks, if executed properly. Being construction projects, the common practice in contracting is to use the Standard Conditions of Contract (SCC) for civil works. These conditions, at times, are unable to address the specific requirements of Trenchless projects works leading to discords & dispute at the project execution & conclusion stages. With a view to include the specific requirements of Trenchless process in such SCC, this book provides the guidelines to develop specific conditions suitable for use in Trenchless projects. Reader can consider these guidelines to address the specific requirements on case to case basis. We would like to invite the reader to provide us their comments for the future revisions.
