2020 is the year that has gone down in history when the world
halted. The year proved to be an impediment for the
infrastructure construction industry. Global trenchless
industry also faced COVID induced challenges. On one hand
those impeded the works & projects, and on the other, they
provided the stakeholders with immense opportunities of
growth as well. To have a quantum leap for our industry and
benefit from them, we need to seize these opportunities
while meeting the challenges.
Need, therefore, is to identify & quantify trenchless work
opportunities available, identify the latest of the frontier
trenchless methods and equipment and their sources,
identify bulk materials and equipment suppliers, enhance
the networking with such sources, enhance the knowledge
about execution and operational processes and cultivate
professional manpower capable to deliver on the
opportunities. Further to top it all, create the network of
trenchless service providers with the project execution
agencies for a better service delivery and product
development.
Main objectives of NDIS 2021 include following:
| 1. | Assist Industry stakeholders to identify & quantify trenchless work opportunities available. |
| 2. | Assist Industry stakeholders to identify the latest of the frontier trenchless methods and equipment and their sources and enhance the networking with such sources. |
| 3. | Assist Industry stakeholders to identify bulk materials and equipment suppliers and help to, enhance the networking with such suppliers. |
| 4. | Assist Industry stakeholders to enhance the knowledge about execution and operational processes of latest working trenchless methods. |
| 5. | Assist Industry stakeholders to cultivate professional manpower capable to deliver on the opportunities available. |
| 6. | Assist Industry stakeholders to create the network of trenchless service providers with the project execution agencies for a better service delivery and product development. |
